ANANTHARA RESORT AND SPA AT KALUTHARA
The Anantara Resort & Spa at Kalutara highlights Helpers Holdings’ expertise in delivering premium timber solutions for luxury hospitality projects. Our team supplied and installed doors, windows, cabinetry, flooring, and handrails crafted from high-quality Sri Lankan Teak, Jackwood, and Maho Gany, combining elegance, durability, and functionality to complement the resort’s sophisticated design.
The Anantara Resort & Spa at Kalutara project is a prime example of Helpers Holdings’ dedication to excellence in timber craftsmanship and luxury hospitality design. Completed between January 2017 and February 2018 for Access Projects (Pvt) Ltd., this project involved the supply and installation of high-quality wooden solutions tailored to complement the resort’s sophisticated architectural style. Situated in the scenic Kalutara region, overlooking the Indian Ocean and Kalu Ganga estuary, the resort demanded precision, elegance, and durability in every wooden installation.
Our team provided a comprehensive range of timber elements, including doors, windows, pantry cupboards, sliding doors, fire-rated doors, engineering doors, laminated doors, plywood doors, flooring, roofing, and handrails. Each component was crafted from carefully selected treated Mahogany, Teak, and Jackwood sourced from Sri Lanka, ensuring a perfect blend of aesthetic appeal, durability, and sustainability. By combining traditional craftsmanship with modern design techniques, we were able to deliver wooden installations that are both visually striking and functionally robust.
Attention to detail was paramount throughout the project. The doors and windows were designed to maximize natural light, airflow, and panoramic views while providing security and longevity. Interior cabinetry and pantry units were crafted to offer practical functionality without compromising on elegance, creating warm and inviting spaces for guests. Our flooring, roofing, and handrails were installed with meticulous precision to maintain structural integrity and safety while harmonizing with the resort’s overall aesthetic vision.
The Anantara Resort & Spa at Kalutara is renowned for its distinctive Geoffrey Bawa-inspired architecture. Our work seamlessly complemented this iconic style, blending modern luxury with timeless Sri Lankan wooden craftsmanship. Every piece of timberwork was treated and finished to withstand the coastal climate, ensuring that the installations maintain their beauty and performance over time.
This project reflects Helpers Holdings’ ability to execute high-end, large-scale hospitality projects with professionalism, creativity, and attention to detail. It demonstrates our commitment to delivering bespoke woodwork solutions that enhance the guest experience, elevate the property’s design, and meet the highest standards of quality and durability. The Anantara Resort & Spa at Kalutara stands as a testament to our expertise in providing luxury timber installations that combine functionality, aesthetics, and long-lasting performance.
Through this project, we reinforced our position as trusted professionals in the hospitality sector, capable of delivering elegant, durable, and sustainable timber solutions for world-class developments in Sri Lanka.
