Helpers Holdings undertook a comprehensive interior fit-out project at the University of Ruhuna, in collaboration with CECS (Pvt) Ltd, enhancing the campus with high-quality, durable wooden installations. The project, carried out from February 10, 2017, to June 20, 2018, focused on delivering functional and aesthetic wooden solutions tailored to the university’s facilities.

The scope included the design, supply, and installation of a wide range of wooden elements. Premium treated mahogany, teak, and jack wood were used to craft doors, windows, pantry cupboards, sliding doors, fire doors, and hand railings. Each element was meticulously selected and installed to ensure durability, safety, and visual appeal, meeting the specific needs of the educational environment.

The project emphasized quality craftsmanship and adherence to stringent safety and durability standards. Fire doors and engineering doors were installed to meet safety regulations, while hand railings were designed to provide accessibility and secure support across campus buildings. The pantry cupboards and sliding doors were custom-designed to enhance usability for students and staff.
